Moreover, she was gentle and mostly used some new-fangled gadget that replaced scraping the plaque off.The exam by the dentist was thorough. I had a great first experience with the team at California Coast Dental. From the ex-ray tech at first to Dr Welling, DDS reviewing all ex-rays with me and creating a plan. And finally, to getting my teeth cleaned. Everyone made my experience very enjoyable.
They got me in on a cancellation because I needed dental clearance for an upcoming surgery. They ended up doing the exam, cleaning and even filled a few weak spots in my tooth enamel. The office is a pleasure to be in and the staff are all kind and on top of their game.

Dr. Chan and staff are always so genuine and helpful. Even for a routine cleaning they make the experience enjoyable and easy. When I was having an emergency wisdom tooth situation Dr. Chan took the call even though he wasn't in the office and referred me to a place that were able to extract all my wisdom teeth the very next day.
Wow!! I am so pleased at how my kids were treated at their appointments. My oldest had two extractions for the first time and the Dr. was so nice, taking the time to talk to her so she wouldn’t feel nervous. The second visit with my ASD son the dental assistant was lovely! They were thoughtful and patient with him. I definitely recommend them! And my kids love the treasure box full of toys for them to choose after they are done with the appointment.
I'm here visiting family in Cali and needed emergency help, thank god for Dr.Chan! Seriously super nice and extremely helpful, got a proper diagnosis after my own dentist dropped the ball. I never leave good reviews but this Doc deserves it, thank you so much for the quick fix! He gave me a list of instructions for my other doc back in NY too to properly fix my tooth (prob going to look for a new dentist anyway) thanks so much doc, back to vaca!
